92Communities is a grassroots, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to delivering arts, culture, and well-being programs for at-risk youth and marginalised communities.
Vision
Established in 2022 following the successful delivery of a week-long school workshop program in a very remote Indigenous community in South East Arnhem Land. This experience exposed us to the stark differences in educational and vocational opportunities between remote and metropolitan areas. What started as a single initiative has since evolved into an ongoing commitment, as we continue to co-develop long-term, community-led programs with local residents. Programs have now expanded to metropolitan cities by way of partnerships with local community youth organisations in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Inspired by the resilience and talent of young people, we are committed to building meaningful relationships and culturally responsive programs in collaboration with local stakeholders.
Mission
Our mission is to open doors for individuals who may not have access to the opportunities they deserve. By working closely with communities, we ensure their priorities are at the forefront, helping to create lasting change where it’s needed most. We aim to inspire young people to dream big, realize their full potential, and overcome obstacles—just as we needed to see when we were younger. Through our creative and wellbeing programs, we provide safe spaces for youth to engage, contribute, and address practical community needs.
